Storm is an intermediate surfski designed with the same features as our Nitro models but with some added stability this ski becomes a pure surfing machine allowing the paddler to focus on paddling hard. The Storm is a responsive, versatile, and fast surfski in waves and extremely competitive also on flatwater. It is designed for racing and fitness paddling.
The cockpit is developed from many years feedback with a carefully shaped seat and a low humb which allows for a good leg drive. Bike water holder under the knees for quick access to the included NK drink bottle. The deBrito self-bailer is the most efficient on the market and manoeuvres easily from closed to open with your foot

Why 610 and 570 length? We want to be sure that we can provide you with the best surfski for the type of paddling you are doing. Generally, if you are a lighter person you can benefit of a shorther hull with some less volume and vice versa if you are a bigger person you can benefit of the longer hull with a little more volume. But this also comes down to your own preferences, what characteristics you like – how you want your ski to behave in different conditions? Even such a thing as storage space is one factor when you finding your new ski.

 

Constructions and graphics

Note: all NK skis are made with prepreg and autoclave technique, a process often used for space industry and F1 cars(and NK surfskis), the high pressure(up to 4 x atmosphere pressure) and heat from the autoclave together with the pre impregnated carbon fibres gives an unmatched lamination of composite creating an extra ordinary light yet strong construction not comparable with other techniques normally used for kayaks such as vacuum infusion or other hand lay up processes
